3rd - 6th Grade: This camp is dedicated to boys and girls entering grades 3-5 and beginner basketball players entering 6th grade. The week will consist of specific skills training that builds on basic fundamentals. This includes, but not limited to: tennis ball / balloon ball handling, form shooting, shooting spots, passing, passing on the go, triple threat, pivoting, offensive moves, how to score in transition and more in depth defensive concepts. These drills will be fun and competitive, while also incorporating leadership and communication skills used outside of the basketball court. These sessions are skill specific and are intended to improve the player's individual age-specific skills in order to be effective in game situations. We preach fundamentals as they are the basis for a complete basketball skill set. Be ready to have fun!
6th - 8th Grade: We will focus on improving one to two specific skills a day, while giving you the tools to further your development when you leave. Each day will consist of skills training followed by application in a game-like setting. Skills include, but not limited to: ball handling, shooting, fast break, finishing moves, scoring in transition, defensive concepts and leadership/communication on and off the court. Scrimmages and/or tournament style games will take place throughout the week. Getting better is the priority, not wins or losses. Be ready to come and work hard and have fun!
